| Read Malaysia 2010 is the inaugural of an annual event where all the publishers, booksellers, academicians, professionals, artistes, authors, software and multimedia suppliers as well as educational institutions such as preschool education, colleges and universities meet together.
The fair offers more than 12, 500 meter square of exhibition space with a huge variety of books including English, Malay and Chinese. About 200 exhibitors from local and foreign countries are expected to occupy the 600 booths set up. Read Malaysia also serves as a platform where regional publishers and distributors can meet and establish partnerships.
Read Malaysia is looking to bring in 400, 000 visitors and it is a highly dedicated event that provides students, parents and educators with educational products and services to expand their horizons over the years.

Mines Event Management Sdn Bhd (MEM) is a leading professional exhibition organiser that successfully organized the 10th World of Chinese Book Fair together with Sin Chew Daily and National Union of Malaysia Headmasters (KKGGBM) with the theme “Books Bring Wealth To The Poor and Nobility To The Rich”. This exhibition started humbly with 8,000 sqm of exhibition space in 1999 and over the years, it has increased to 20,000 sqm in 2008. It had attracted more than 200 exhibitors from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore & Malaysia and brought in a record of 426,000 visitors last year. It is officially endorsed by Malaysia Book of Records as the LARGEST Books Fair held in Malaysia. Thus with such experience MEM is confident that READ MALAYSIA 2010 will be another success.
